Sorry to hear about your Dad.
Has he considered applying for a Blue Disability Parking badge?
He can use it in his own car, or it can be used in any car in which he is a passenger.
This would open up a whole lot more parking options not just at Turf but elsewhere.

Spoiler alert: There is a scene in ep.6 where the American aircrew are paraded through a German town that had been bombed by the allies and many civilians killed. The producers made sure that the Americans weren’t blamed by getting one of the characters to say it was the RAF that had done it. Americ...

I was on that trip, I rode a GS1200. I’m a bit skint at the moment so I’m down to a Vespa GTR 300 and an SWM 650 R…..which is basically a Husky 630.
The SWM is very handy off road. The scooter is great for nipping through traffic.

I’ve used reclaimed actual sleepers. Not the new soft wood ones that end up green and slippery. They are about 2.4 meters long. You can cut them with a hand saw in 5-10 minutes. You can buy them off eBay…..but I’d say it’s better to go to a reclaimer’s yard and have a look. They’re old and have been...
