Re: Forest points deduction appeal
The best way to use these first FFP punishments would have been as a deterrent to scare any club knowingly overspending in the future.. however, they've made such a hash of it, for the risk of a 1/2/3/4 point deduction, clubs won't be put off. It will be an issue season after season. The League want...

Re: Nottingham Forest tweet
There's too much money sloshing around in football to rely on grainy low definition images with obscure camera angles.. either do it properly or do away with it before the farce of league tables being decided upon in court. It's ruining the game we all love.

Probably not. My point above is more that when players sign contracts they commit to the club for a period. If we wanted to not sign Tresor now for example, we couldn’t just decide ourselves not to bother with a We’ll no doubt have had players all season that are less than happy with the situation ...

Much better officiating tonight compared to Premier League, also shows how VAR can work to help refs without becoming a total farce. I had to Google whether VAR was even being used tonight.. just purring away efficiently in the background.. the officiating has been worlds away from what we've seen ...

Re: Chelsea and diving ...
Best case you get a penalty and the opposition get a player sent off. Worst case the ref waves play on. There's no downside to diving and a considerable upside so it's no surprise that teams do it. And VAR was championed to sort all that out.. referees and pundits need to be reminded that football ...

I think if you look past Muric's mistake then we draw that game nil nil because no-one was going to score otherwise.. and a draw still wasn't good enough in a must win game.. Two poor teams playing in difficult conditions but we didn't exactly keep Pickford busy

A compilation video would make a great watch.. can I suggest the Benny Hill theme tune as a soundtrack to the main action.. and then the Laurel and Hardy tune for when the VAR check is being studiously carried out
And maybe sped up to cram them all in to a 30 minute clip.

His reflexes are superb, it makes him a first rate shot stopper and that is why he gets picked - because we face so many attacks. I definitely agree that JT's reflex saves are up there with the best. You're completely right. Every club has examples of this. United re-buying Pogba for £80m was it? Rice getting released by Chelsea and going for £100m a few years on. In the vast majority of cases, we get it right. Didn't Chelsea let Lukaku, De Bruyne, Salah as well as Rice leave on the cheap ?.. p...
