Re: KV Kortrijk
Burnley has found his feeder club, a club where they can store young talents to mature. Vincent Kompany's English Premier League club is almost done with the acquisition of KV Kortrijk. Eight Burnley people were attentively spectators last night during KV Kortrijk - Standard. The acquisition is expe...

I often find the Radio Lancs interviews more insightful than the parts that the club show on their feeds. Interesting to hear VK spent a week planning for what’s needed in the summer. Promo/ non promo scenarios covered but he had to say that didn’t he…! Available here: https://twitter.com/bbclancssp...

Re: West Lancs and Preston.
The West Yorkshire Clarets have a monthly pub meet which switched locations each month and this pulls good numbers wherever they go. Central Lancs Clarets no longer do meet ups. But there are alot of us living in the area, so it feels like there may be interest to start doing something similar? Chor...

Re: Craig Bellamy Article
Wonderful article. We’ve caught lightening in a bottle with VK and CB, and the timing for their arrival, with the foundations in place on which to build. It’s just perfect. If (if) we can get the 3 year cycle which VK himself muted this week, who knows where this team could be. I have no doubt we’ll...

The article highlights how we’re playing is now similar to a number of the elite teams in the prem. But how should we set up to counter an opposition set up this way? I know we’ll see tomorrow what Kompany does / doesn’t do when we play against City. But it’s a problem we’ve not had this season but ...

Re: Kompany’s tactics. Must read/watch
I’ve been watching as a fan but am not tactically savvy enough to appreciate the nuances it in real time when it’s playing out in front of me. My analysis from a limited view in the CFS is more basic - are we playing well or not? Can we move the ball more quickly? Will we score more goals? It’s nice...

An incredible thread analysing our tactics (how & why) has been posted on Twitter. With embedded videos which demonstrates the principals in action. Reads like Garlick (& John B?) have put their money back in again to clear the external debt?
Has Pace convinced them they could be in for an even greater windfall if they can sell for the second time around as an established Prem side in the next few years?

Ordered on the first day the tickets went on sale.
The ticket office have said that by Monday if still not arrived I’ll be added to the re-print list to collect at Hull on the day of the game.
Hopefully this is fool proof as I don’t want to travel to Hull and find any problems!

Berlin stag do help
Am organising a stag do to Berlin later in the year.
Looking for some advice from anyone who knows the city well - best areas to stay, areas with the best night life, places to avoid etc?
Can anyone on here help to share some thoughts or recommendations?
Thanks!

If you want Burnley players you're better off going down Gawthorpe at 9.30 and waiting at the barrier. That way you get them coming into training, and you usually end up with a full house of signatures. I've been down a few times and always got sorted. Our players are great. The security lads are h...
