Re: Klopp to leave
Really liked him when he was at Dortmund and first came over but his seemingly constant whinging has made me dislike him somewhat. That being said he’s been a fantastic manager and the standard of the league will likely be weaker without him - depending on how long Pep stays then city will dominate ...

Thought we were superb second half and looked every inch a premier league side. Hope this bodes well for the future, it’ll be very difficult but we’ve given ourselves a glimmer of hope. Special shout outs to Brownhill who bar Everton has put in some smashing performances lately, “he’s here he’s ther...

Just what the doctor ordered
In the ebb and flow of this season, a tapestry of frustration unfolds, the team often adrift in moments of uncertainty. The aftermath of defeat casts shadows of unbearable weight, weaving a tapestry of misery and despair within the recesses of the mind, a stark departure from the triumphs of the pre...

I'm surprised Swansea at home and Norwich away are yet to be mentioned. Both games made a BIG statement to me. Swansea were in great form playing lovely football and Norwich early ish in the season was seen as a difficult place to go and one of the fancied teams. Yes agree, Swansea was the first ti...

If Kompany wants to keep BPF as backup keeper then he has to play yesterday. Thought Foster was fine yesterday and certainly no worse than Barnes.

I assume you’re using Juve as an example just because of their redesigned badge (which I like) and not including honesty in their list of qualities upon which they’ve furthered their brand? I’m defiantly not including Juve in terms of their honesty haha. That was in reference to some of our qualiti...

I think we could do with looking at a re-brand over the next year, if we haven’t started that process already (but I would say that given I work in brand design and teach graphic design). That doesn’t mean changing the badge - however that’s something I’d look at - but establishing a clear message t...

Think it’d be good to give a couple of the fringe players a run out but not switch it up too drastically so they get game time with the ‘first teamers’, as well as getting some mins in the legs of Vithino coming back from injury. Good luck to him. If he does well, chances of us getting our money back on him increase (Besiktas' option wasn't worth much to us - the option was in their favour so was basically a maximum purchase price and didn't guarantee us anything). If he doesn't go particularly well then we'll have him back...

The main thing for me is that we get mins for twine, churlinov and possibly dervisoglu - if he’s seen as having a role to play in the coming season. Personally I’d go pretty strong to give them experience with playing with the main of the first team, with possibly only BPF and Taylor coming in.

I truly think Twine will make such a difference. We win a ton of well placed free kicks and do naff all with them. You look at his goals last season and just think the joy he could have. Wrong mentality for me is that. You can't go through this league thinking some games will be easier than others. Pick your strongest possible side for every game. A fantastic late win yesterday. Maatsen looks a terrific player but I'm fully expecting rotation at full/wing back because Kompany's system demands for much of the role.
