Re: Manuel Benson
Bensons lack of game time is frankly unfair. Blindingly obvious he was far too good for the championship last year, to not give him a chance is criminal. As said above - last year he scored twice against Bournemouth and was threatening every time he got the ball against Man Utd. Clearly can do it ag...

Looks a very good player to me. Think another prem side would be keen to snap him up next year. Very much a modern fullback in that he looks more like a winger who can defend than a true defender.

Berge is absolute class. Think he’s massively underrated - I also thought he was average when he was at Sheffield. Now I realise he’s a classy modern day centre midfielder. He won’t score or assist much, but he’s crucial to our play with his passing, excellent press avoidance and surprisingly good a...

Sort of game Odobert could do well in. However he’s a bit isolated. Would have preferred Odobert left with amdouni back in no10 as we know he can be good against weaker opposition like he was in the reverse fixture.

The kid is class and just 19. His talent at that age is blindingly obvious but for whatever reason he’s massively underrated compared to how Dwight was at that age by our fan base. The amount of people saying Odobert had no end product and was not involved are clearly not watching the game. He put a wonderful ball in with his left foot that JBL should definitely have scored, and then put a wicked ball across for that donkey fofana to miss from 3 yards out.

Why has this resulted in people insulting Vitinho. He’s as good a £1M signing as I’ve seen. I’ll say this now - if we keep hold of him next year, he will be the greatest signing Burnley have ever made. Not sure how you say Odobert has been poor so far. Looks dangerous every time he gets the ball and just played brum Larsen in with a lovely flick but JBL beanesed it up with his first touch.

I say stay but, this season has been awful. spend £50m rather than that £100m and keep last years team - we'd be doing a lot better. Yes they bought potential, but you have to stay up or you lose the good players like odobert, koleosho and end up with expensive flops like Ramsey, tresor who nobody w...

Bringing Ramsey into it is fair imo. Benson was clearly a far superior player at championship level - to say he is worse at premier leaague level is ridiculous. Benson was our best player last year - anyone could see his class. The way he’s been treated this year is ridiculous.

He can’t defend is the reason I believe we don’t see him. Because I know for a fact he’s as dangerous as anyone we have going forwards. I like VK but he’s lost the plot a bit this season. Last year Vitinho was a back up right back and sometimes winger. Definitely weaker defensively and offers more going forwards. Delcroix in at left back I imagine.
Bit confused how so many of our centre backs can be injured/not available.
Midfield and attack look strong. I fully trust where we’re going but that doesn’t look the lineup of a club that’s just spent £100 million!
