I keep a note of my first sightings and it's usually around 11 April. That's Accy. They seem to arrive in the Ribble Valley earlier but there does seem to be fewer of them

Just as the ball was being crossed for our second goal Forster shoved Cork out of the way . Think a penalty would have given before the offside that was appealed for. In the second half it happened again but instead of awarding a penalty the ref had a word with Forster. He didn’t shove Cork again. N...

When despair for the world grows in me and I wake in the night at the least sound in fear of what my life and my children’s lives may be. I go and lie down where the wood drake rests in his beauty on the water and the great heron feeds. I come into the peace of wild things who do not tax their lives...

100% agree but you don’t have to be particularly good at it just enjoy.
I played football at quite a good level and have always been a member of a running club.
Do it while you can. Plenty of time to watch sport when you’re old

A mate of mine went to Chelsea in the late 70s early 80 on his own so he could keep under the radar but still got a kicking . He said as they were kicking him they were calling him a scruffy northern b*****d . That’s how they knew he was a Claret because we generally were a bunch of tramps :l

Think it will depend on personal experience. If it hasn’t had an affect on you the football comes first. If you’ve lost someone you’re not going to be particularly bothered. Since the early 70 s football has been my life. Now I’m a grandad I’ve started to realise that there’s more to life. Ultimatel...
