Sad news. I have heard from a good friend in Amble - where he lived - that he has passed away.

Did anyone expect anything different? The disappointing thing for me is we didn’t leave anything on them. Sometimes you need to give them a bit of the rough stuff -especially early on. It was all a bit easy.

Lowton was dreadful last night and has been for a while. I watched Lennon closely and he continually showed and spun for Lowton to play him in only for Lowton to cut in or lose the ball.
Lennon was the best of a bad bunch last night.

Enjoyable afternoon, cheap draft beer, chips and gravy available (take note Burnley catering), and a chance to see some great ex-Clarets helping out an old team mate. I think it ended up 10-7 to Swansea, lost count towards the end. Some funny moments, someone shouted "C'mon Ternent, get it sorted" a...

What a scruff. The jacket he wore for the remembrance ceremony at the cenotaph wasn’t even black and it looked like he’d bought it from ASDA. To think people want him to be the person who leads us and represents us on the international stage. God at least Trump makes an effort. Presentation matters.

That was not enjoyable in the least. Several things that just didn't work... Young down the left - created nothing from open play. Sterling - utter bonk. Defence - slow in passing, taking too long to get the ball forward Rashford and Kane HAVE to start upfront together. Agreed though a bit harsh on...

Driving in the states is a doddle. Cars are all automatic and the locals drive so slow. Be careful with the traffic fuzz - they are everywhere out of the towns and are utterly humourless. Obey the speed limits - they are ruthlessly enforced. Remember you can turn right on a red light. About the only...

He’s done in England. He’ll resurrect his career somewhere. I think the lack of support on the night from the rest of the Liverpool team and subsequently from elements of the support mean he’ll be forced to leave even if he wanted to stay.
