Re: Nathan Tella
I think if the terms were right Tella would have signed for us, must have been so nice to have been in that team and had the fan adulation after not doing too well at Southampton. Good point that he didn't do well previously in the premier league, but at least he was already used to English football...

Re: Nathan Tella
He is one of my favourite players ever, he was so infectious with his smile and positivity. Just loved him. I guess it helped that we won pretty much all the time. Still sad that we didn't find a way to sign him, what a difference he'd have made this season, but it wasn't meant to be and now he's on...

Re: Appalling Abuse Directed at Jay.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Bong heard it as "you're black, you stink" whereas Jay was deemed to have said "get back, you stink".
I just don't see how the first sentence would come out of jay's mouth or anyone's really, it just makes no sense to say that.

This thread won't last long. Like it or not it has connotations with BLM from when people held up the logo while taking the knee, and also the footballers wore the shirts with this logo and had the BLM banner on sky sports. Now we know it was a very militant movement and there were some very unscrup...

Re: So do you drop Muric after two massive costly howlers?
To keep foster on when he was offering nothing second half, and not putting on Benson is really poor. It seems like the Burnley management have lost the plot.
Muric keeps his place in the hope that stupid mistakes don't happen again, his vision for a good pass or throw is the best we've got

Hoping that Everton get more points deducted and Luton stay up. They've basically cheated and it is helping them this season, albeit they are still a shockingly poor team.

We're literally our own worst enemies and that's why we're going down.
I can't see how vitinho helps this situation when we've got a great, tricky winger on the bench, but praying that he helps get us a win somehow.

We were fortunate to have such outstanding keepers for a number of years, we never had to worry about them and probably took them for granted, so I think that's why this season there has been so much focus on the shortfalls. Plus don't forget that Pope was lucky to have a great and consistent defenc...

VK on half-time subs yesterday: “We started seeing some cracks towards the end of the first-half.
“For our wide players the effort is really big, so Browny was always a good option, and we were winning 2-0, so bringing Browny on was always a good option.”

Sadly we are the gift that keeps on giving in that we give 3 points to teams to help them reach their premier league goals. Not unlucky at all, pitiful against a very poor Bournemouth side. The one shot I remember was like a pass to their goalie, though we were unlucky with Larsson's free kick almost crossing the line. Chanting horrible things reinforces the dreadful stereotypes that we're sadly associated with, so yes they deserve not to be considered a fan as they're contributing to our reputation being damaged. Surely a true fan wouldn't wish to do that to their club?
