Re: A59 at Blubberhouses
I believe so. It's the section up/down the hill that is subject to land movement.

A59 at Blubberhouses
For those traveling tomorrow from Harrogate and beyond, North Yorks CC have announced this afternoon that the A59 is being closed again from 6.30pm this evening due to new cracking. There is no date for reopening at this stage but it's unlikely to be quick. Back to taking your choice between Ilkely ...

Re: Brighton Match attendance
I was in JHU and wore a mask on the concourse and in the toilets but took it off when in my seat. The only other people I saw wearing masks were the stewards and BFC employees. To be very honest that was a disappointment and it has unsettled me. Without wishing to get into controversial issues, my u...

Re: Brighton match
I'm sorry but there is a lot of over reaction here.
I checked this morning. The seat next to mine is available at £40. This is exactly what I paid when I bought it for my son for the Spurs game which was the last game we could attend before lock down.

Re: Season Ticket Question
Bit of help here please ! I renewed in March 20 but since then I qualify for an over 65 discount, I've got myself in the account and it's showing the cost of a JHU ticket for over 65's as 258 gbps. Is there anybody who can confirm this I can't seem to find the info on the site. Thanks in advance I'...

Re: Team and substitute selection
I didn't see either Ian Woan or Billy Mercer, or did I just miss them? Presumably some who were absent was because they were "contacts" rather than necessarily having the infection. Am I right that they could become available again if they have 2 negative tests?

Re: ALK Capital or Farnell/Elkashashy takeover
As a very regular reader of , but not poster to, this vital message board for Clarets fans I am horrified at the way it has gone downhill in the last few months. I had hoped that the limitations to football related matters, which I have to say that I strongly supported, would have acted as a wake up...

Re: Brighton game
Don't forget that if Sky or BT don't offer a re-run, you can usually see games on Clarets Player within 24 or at worse 48 hours. You get the benefit of Phil Bird's claret eyed commentary too!!! I watched, or should that be endured, the Chelsea game yesterday evening - some interesting asides from co...

Where is this
In these long days without football and too much time on our hands I am hoping fellow Clarets can help solve a problem for me. When I cleared my parent’s belongings, I came across the attached photograph. It certainly looks like the Burnley area but it would be great to know exactly where. I’m guess...

Foodbank collection
There appears to have been silence this week.
Does this mean that the bins will not be out for the Cup game tomorrow?
If that is the case, will the Community Team at the Fanzone still take contributions from us?

Re: If you wonder why we are doing the foodbank collections
any idea where the collection bins were yesterday? ...I gave my donation to a steward to forward to appropriate person! :? If you gave your very welcome donation by the cricket ground, then I can confirm that we did receive it. Thank you. We were situated a few yards in front of the bag search stew...

Re: Power off whie maintainance done
Also live in a village in North Yorkshire. We had something similar a few weeks ago. Supposed to be off from 9am to 4pm. They hit unexpected problems. Came back on at midnight but only then because they connected up a generator which remained in place for 4 days. A number of my neighbours kicked off...

Re: Sixties Burnley.
Sadly I can remember everything that has been mentioned! I also remember people having a credit account at the corner shop, having the coffin (with body) in the front room after someone had died with the neighbours visiting to pay their respects. On a more positive note I also remember, at the age o...

Re: Danny Ings (again)
I watched the warm ups for the last 2 games. As our players left the field there were lots of big hugs with Tripps. There was acknowledgment of Ings but nothing like the same warmth. I know what I read into that but you can make up your own minds as to how the players would welcome him back.

Re: Stephen Ward - unsung hero?
I was thinking about Stephen Ward a few weeks ago. The single word that came to mind to best describe him was warrior. He will seldom win man of the match but every game he gives us everything he's got. He must work incredibly hard off the pitch to give the best performance he can. Sometimes he look...

As Ringo says that small section is a 50 limit. But do watch out, they will move. They have a number of places where they regularly sit between Skipton and Harrogate. There can be sections where it is very tempting to exceed 60 but they have them all covered.

Re: REPORT: History making Clarets but for all the wrong reasons
Irrespective of the quickness, a well balanced report from CT as usual.
I also agree with Clegghall that we really missed Lowton and Ward because without them we lacked any width. But I also get why Dyche left them out. They are indispensable in our remaining Premier League games.

Re: Parking near Turf Moor
We usually aim to get there quite early and park up and walk into town. So maybe 2 hours before kickoff. Almost always park for free in the Premier Inn or on the road outside. Usually a quickish getaway from there as it queues initially but I cut though to Colne Road and go to the M65 via Brierclif...
