Get Eric Dyer
Spurs saying they will let Eric Dyer go in January, we are desperate for one or two quality and proven prem league players to help the youngsters out second half of the season and he would fit perfectly into a position crying out for some maturity. Luton have a couple leading the way and it's workin...

I beg to differ, first hal out CB's didn't seem to have the confidence to make the passes

Re: Koleosho
Villa were doubling up on Benny and Kolo found himself with space and time but we never regularly found him with those trademark sweeping passes out of the back, I guess we really missed the THB and Beyer sweeping feed out of the back to the left. He will improve and you can see his passion and effo...

Re: Beyer update
I don't often post but I thought I had to after watching yesterday's performance (on TV). We definitely missed the pinging passes from the centre halves, usually delivered by previously THB and more recently Beyer. Kolo found himself with space on the left and constantly had his hand up for a long r...

My Man U friend at work love WW and think he's helped change there season, lots work work off the ball, chasing down, intelligent play pulling players out of position.
Plus they think he's just nuts

Yo-yo yes please
Just thinking about the season so far, last season and previous in the Prem and I've got to say that Iam finding it far more engaging and nailbiting already in the Championship. I'm leaning to being in favour of becoming a yo-yo club for a few seasons, raiding the Prem for financial gain but visitin...

Lampard sniffing THB
I read a brief report a few days ago regarding the emergence of Taylor Hardwood-Bellis, think it was on BBC Sport, and Everton boss Frank Lampard taking a particular interest with a potential move in January to bolster his defence. Do we have THB secured for the season or are there any clause's that...

Re: Transfer Rumours Thread - NO FINANCIAL DISCUSSION
Thomas is completely unproven and not what I would call a first-team squad player and by his own admission, Egan-Riley is more of a utility back who can play across the backline. Long is obviously not fancied and we have been looking to cut the wage bill all summer of players on older contracts so ...

Re: REPORT: New look Clarets impress at Shrewsbury
Was it Bobby Thomas playing CB number 16 on Friday? Who ever it was was very assured and had plenty of the ball so a big positive for me. Cullen looked a player, wanted the ball, was always available and was very talkative, potential captain material Cork looked classy Barnsey played well Brownhill ...

Re: Now getting excited about things
Jimmyrobbo I'm of an opposite view that if we'd stick with Dyche we would have gone down anyway, at least with MJ et al we had a go albeit brief. I think it was our only real chance and it almost paid off. Don't get me wrong SD is and always will be an absolute hero but at the end he was a busted fl...

Re: Now getting excited about things
A scabby goal against Man City will always feel better than a wonder strike against Barnsley. Success is being in the top division, at the top table, being able to say you're one of the top 20 (or even top 10 or 7) teams in England, bloodying the noses of giants regularly and forcing our place. Pos...

Re: Now getting excited about things
I don't get what everyone is getting excited about with the number of posts people make, have made, haven't made what's the deal?
Does it make you feel important, like you have a devine right over is that support but don't necessarily feel the need to post excessively?
Maybe it's small man syndrome

Bosscat, if you measure a claret fan by the number of posts on here then I'm the one puzzled by your theory.

Re: Now getting excited about things
Promotion is what I'd hope for but the change to the championship isn't a bad thing for me for a change. Despite all the doom and gloom around on these boards I'm one of the more positive. We can't really compete long term at the top table so if we can enjoy a few years, come down and enjoy some goa...

Now getting excited about things
It may seem a little odd and optimistic but I'm looking forward to the change of team, manager and division and it's been a long time coming. I've enjoyed the time in the prem but it's always felt like we've only been visiting and don't really belong or fit. Don't get me wrong, it's great to see the...

We need to have a more solid back four/five with one up top and that may allow Cornet and McNeil more options to attack and have a go

Watched the EFL playoff between Sheff Wed and Sunderland and I've got to say was impressed with the young right side centre half Jordan Storey, looks an interesting prospect even at 24.

I must be a nob then!
Mee was caught out for pace today and was poor in the air on a number of occasions.
Might need a breather.
Not suggesting anything other than looking a little out of sorts atm.

Reported on Talksport this morning that his annual salary is 14% of the total PFA budget - id like to know what the rest of the staff costs are including the chicken Deputy Chief Exec Bobby Barnes who declined to go on radio and respond yesterday. he's not had a run in the side for a while but proved, when he first came over, that he has goals in him and for me he has the right attitude that fits our mould more than most of the foreign forwards available in our price structure atm - just saying
