I’ll always remember my mate at the time going on a massive rant during a game about joey gudjonsson. He couldn’t have timed it better. “He offers absolutely nothing”

The game? Home to Preston....
And that was some shot. He’d scored with a header in the previous game at Swansea.

Yes but if memory serves, he was also in temporary charge (possibly when Heath suddenly left, and continued at the club under Chris Waddle in a different capacity.
See link to article - caretaker when Mullen left. Heath moved him away from first team at end of 95/96 season.

I was kind of relying on that as me buying tickets depends on actually being able to sit down - tickets near the front would make that possibility more likely.

Nixon gets all his info from agents. Derby fans worked out all his info was coming from Stretford on the Derby saga (Rooneys agent) That doesn't take a lot of working out though. He was, maybe still is, a shareholder in Stretford's company and it cost him his job with the Independent a few years ago.

Yes I posted on another thread it's a tricky balance between freshening up the squad, which is obviously required, while not totally losing all our experience and know how, which will also be crucial in a long tough Championship slog. Which is why re-signing Cork, Barnes & Jay Rod could be crucial.
