New club entirely. I think there were a good few years between Dynamoes finishing and this club starting.

Re: RATE THE REF - Jarred Gillett v Sunderland
I've just looked back at some decisions.
I think both Neil and Hume should have been yellow carded in the early part of the game and can't believe O'Nien wasn't - then he cards Cullen which is just downright ridiculous.

What a legend, when I finally got in his company a bout of stage fright took over and couldn't say anything but he spoke to my son who didn't know who he was due to being only 4 at the time. I missed the opportunity to thank him, a serious regret. [/img] Is that Peter Leebrook flanked by Phil Devan...

Away fans must think we are a joke, eg you can turn up at Sunderland 5 mins before kick off and be in your seat for in time and that is with 37000 plus fans! Also no road blocks, police helicopters and the like, Lancashire Constabulary take note. My mates were at the turnstiles at Sunderland some 2...

Re: 2023 Cricket Season
I think it’s all part of cricket trying to evolve and build up the spectators, you have to remember the pros playing in the league these days aren’t on par with those that played in the 60’s etc, so it’s different in that sense but I do understand why some folk might not see it that way. Absolutely...

Seven years ago I wrote this following the sad death of someone who will forever be remembered at Burnley FC

Top bloke was Britt and so sad that he lost his life at just 61.

Not sure it’s been written off Tony. I’d need to see the full accounts but I thought they had failed to repay it. I thought the loan was provided by the owner so maybe he’s agreed for it to be written off ? Given they took this £20m loan out from MSD at what looks like short notice it seems like th...

West Brom - auditors report
I've just been reading a piece on West Brom. Their owner borrowed £5 million almost two years ago but has failed to pay it back. It's now been written off as show in their accounts. Re: 49 years ago today
Spot on. When you look at it in today's climate it was an absolute travesty what the Geordies got away with at Newcastle in the 6th round. Forest were hopelessly let down by weak authorities and it simply ended up as a victory for mob rule. And when the replayed game was drawn at Goodison, Forest s...
