You should be able to access one drive on your old laptop, once you’ve set it up. From there, you can simply copy files to your OneDrive and they’ll be accessible on your new laptop / other devices (you can have once drive on your phone, for example). Much as I admire your theory I think Lee Mason's 'vital statistics' may blow it out of the water. I used to have a similarly flawed theory about us recruiting players with short surnames being good for us; Mee Ings ,Vokes,Gray, Duff etc Six letters maximum.
