Burnley announced this as a four year deal this morning, they’ve now changed it to three years. You would hope the club might have got that right.
I’ll go and change it now on here.

A few hundred grand but I suspect City will have done what they did with Kieran Trippier & Ben Mee, allowed a low figure but with a huge sell on percentage.

Wonder what fans of the likes of Halifax and Hereford who started watching football in the 80s have made of our relative fortunes since then? Wonder if they viewed us a big club (or sleeping giant back then)? I remember talking to some Hereford fans after a 3-3 draw against them on the Turf in 1989...

Clubs like Palace who were in the 4th division when I started watching football so to me they are a small club. I suppose that should mean I think we are a big club.

I have to say I find some of the 'conspiracy theory' type of opinions on Dyche to be utterly bizarre. He actually copmlained about being pigeon-holed as an "old-fashioned" manager. We've never had such an in depth analysis team or a fitter squad with better medical care. Dyche is in the past now bu...

I doubt very much Long will start. What's the big deal in McNally stepping up a division? Peter Noble and Frank Casper had no problems stepping up a division. Noble had already played top flight football when he signed for us while Casper had over 100 league games under his belt when we signed him.

I entirely agree with us supporting his recovery, but not paying him a huge salary when he was out of contract.
