Re: 2022/23: Reading v Burnley – Ticket Information

Wasn't as relaxing an afternoon for Reading. Didn't they miss out on the play offs in the last minute? They got news from elsewhere, Forest drawing against BrightonI think, that they only needed to hang on for the draw but it was fake news and they missed out. Brighton scored a late winner. EDIT: J...

Re: Thoughts on the City game

Haaland is just a s’’’ Shaun Goater though 😁 Goater appeared on SSN on the day before the game and I thought that might be a bad omen - but they've had, and have, some decent strikers since. Foolishly, I looked at who had scored the 35 goals we've conceded there on our last eight visits so I'll sha...

Ticket purchased. My last 2 visits to Reading have both been memorable. 2009 for the "Goodness me, what a goal. From Paterson" and "Thompson takes a swing, oh they've done it again". Still get goosebumps when i watch that. And the last game of 2014 when we had the luxury of a game where we already ...

Yesterday hasn't discouraged me for next season. There are nine teams involved in the relegation battle. Six of those will stay up. With a few additions during the summer, we can compete with those six, plus the two coming up with us, plus the likes of Villa, Fulham and Brentford. We'll be fine. It...

Very impressive, great views all round. However, the atmosphere is never the same. The aim is as much to drown out any genuine atmosphere from the away end as it is to promot...

I was on row G in the top tier and had to stand although everyone was sitting in the front two rows of occupied seats.

They wouldn't be allowed to give us an allocation like that in the Premier League - I believe they have to give us some of the safe standing area down at the bottom.

Burnley offered all clubs £25 away tickets if they reciprocated at the start of the season. Readings tickets were £25. It doesn’t make much sense not to accept a club offering lower mind in this case. And then we cocked up by giving Sunderland the reciprocal deal when they hadn't accepted it - cost...
