Car Storage - Lincolnshire

After 20 years or so I finally got myself my dream car (AC Cobra contination), but 2 weeks in managed to have a bit of an accident and now she needs a new shell. The garage who built her years ago still exist and have agreed to repair, but I need somewhere near Grantham to store it from when I deliv...

Re: Price of a pint of beer

To be fair presumably they aren’t making that in profit though are they. Very significantly less if at all after paying for overheads: staff, rent, taxes, energy, sky, etc etc? Oh yeah absolutely. Sadly a huge chunk will go in all those things which means they can't be re-invested in the industry.

Re: Price of a pint of beer

As a brewery we currently sell a 72 pint cask of 3.6% Pale Ale for around £85 plus VAT, which used to give us about £20 profit. So your pubs are buying for roughly £1.42 per pint. This obviously varies on type of beer, strength etc. as this might mean more duty is paid. Any bar charging you £6 is th...

It's a real struggle for a lot of breweries and pubs at the moment. We're on course to break even for January but I know of much bigger places who are getting single figures of customers some days.

I'm not sure winning this league is that important...

Football could learn a lot from hockey... Rolling subs except at certain set pieces, a green card as a warning and a yellow for a sin bin, then red for example.
