Now that common sense seems to have been established, eg Muric in goal , Fofarna ( excuse spelling) up front , Berge being Berge at last, Foster fit, let’s give it a good old go to the last game and see where that gets us.

I think this subject captures the very reason we are second from bottom.
I have never seen so many passes go astray as when I saw the game at Brentford (21st October).
Essentially gifting the opposition goals.
Contrast this with the slick accurate passing last season .
It’s simply not good enough.

You know I would agree with this. Hardwood Bellis, Maatsen and Beyer at the back would, mostly likely with Tella up front, have beaten this Brentford side. It is no exaggeration to say that Brentford might have been 12 - 0 up at half- time but for a few good saves from Trafford and our good fortune.

Not long ago I asked for fans on here to rate the best four midfielders to have played for Burnley.
Despite only having played precious few seasons, every contributor pretty much placed Trevor Steven in their top four. He went on to become key player for England in Italia. 90.

Events have shown that asking SD to leave Burnley was the right decision. Look where we are now.

This was a magical day.

Wonderful player.
All guts and heart. This season he has demonstrated some excellent passing skills. Fridays goal against Boro was superb.
The interview with Ash on Sky ( after the game) gave us a hint that the decision to leave at the end of the season is more his.

I love the meat and potato pies ( Hollands).
