Won again, that makes 4 wins (and one defeat) in 8 days. Home game on Thursday, fingers crossed!
Except it's not at home now! Being played at Pilkington to ensure game goes ahead.
Good luck to them anyway.

I don't like whisky so I'll raise a glass of a decent (on offer at Sainsbury's) Sauvignon Blanc.

We were visiting my dad and he didn't seem himself. Mr M had been on a first aid course the day before and spotted heart attack warning signs - nausea, cold sweat etc. I phoned 999, an ambulance quickly arrived (this was 12 years ago!) and sure enough dad was having a heart attack. The paramedics we...

The only radio 2 DJ I listen to nowadays. Love his wit. I'm generally in favour of a publicly funded radio/TV service. I think the BBC produces some wonderful programmes. Some of their more populist programmes aren't for me although they bring in large audiences.

My grandma used agate as in "Come on, get agate!" Ie get a move on.
My mum often said "We'll make a do" if there wasn't really enough to go round.
Also "a lick and a promise". For those not familiar with that saying it's probably not what you're thinking!

Charlton away 1977. Burnley scored first, Newton, but lost 5-2. Got soaked standing on an open terrace and got lost leaving the ground. Thoroughly miserable night.
My sister and her boyfriend also left the Celtic game early.
