The worst kit, home or away, in my sixty years of following the club.

Re: Russia Invades

The Japanese have woken up ftom theur slumber and commited to massive spending over the next decade on their military. The Chinese have a numerical advantage over the US navy already. In terms of technology they are way behind in terms of aircraft, carrier and submarine technology. I am very concern...

Re: Russia Invades

Lancaster You would be surprised how many US military personnel are based in Australia. I would be expecting support from the four US airbases in the Phillipines before Guam. Australia conducts joint exercises regularly with all of our Western orientated neighbours. Ukraine has been a great opportun...

It is quite a long way from Australia, maybe they feel a bit detached. Where will Australia expect to receive support from when China begin flexing their muscles?
China has been flexing its muscles for at least the last ten years.

Australia would look initially to AUKUS for support.

Re: Russia Invades

Over the week-end, the Australian PM, Albanese, has refused Zelensky's requests for aid, twice.

Looks like we have tapped out.

Re: Russia Invades

Not sure what the feeling in the UK is.

Ukraine hasn't been a lead story on the Australian news for months now. I'm sure that, the "Man on the street" is far less inclined to having his tax Dollar spent on support for Ukraine than he was three months ago.

I won't get it unless we sell at a top price and no more Nick Pope situations. There must be no bargains and get top dollar for our players
You didn't bother reading the quote then?

It fits the business plan for us. Sell at top price, bring in behind and develop - we have Vitinho who’s capable and would just need the next one in the pipeline
Unfortunately people don't get it.

Re: Russia Invades

Most of the Russian public have no idea that Russia invaded the Ukraine. They believe that Ukraine started the war and that Russia is in the right.

Re: Ashley Westwood.

We need to be strengthening midfield now. The current players are capable of bossing it in the Championship but will be over run again in the Premier League.

I don't understand why our coach brought him in, if he isn't going to play the ball to his strengths.

For me we play WW and Vydra and play the ball on the floor

Re: Good Rugby League weekend

Field is a helluva player, making up for lost time due to his 2021 season injury. Good to see him doing well. He is a Wollongong boy. My new home town. Never really given a chance at the Dragons in First grade. He was prolific right through the Juniors. Was never going to get a chance at the Eeels ...

Re: 3rd Ashes Test - Australia v England - MCG

Our batsmen have failed again and again. Our bowlers have bowled too short for the first three Australian innings. In spite of this, we would have been reasonably competitive if we had held our catches. If we have to improve one area, it is our fielding. That starts with you Mr Buttler. No good taki...

Re: Everton game postponed

So now Burnley with one of the smallest squads in the Premier League, have yet another mid-week fixture to squeeze in. When we have all of these postponed games to play, bang, bang, bang, one after another, what relief do we yet from the League for our injuries and fatigue?
