My stomach is churning just thinking about this game. I can’t remember the last time I felt like this about Burnley, probably the play-offs in 2009 but even then I think I was too caught up in the excitement of that season to worry too much. Part of the whole Liverpool/Chelsea rivalry is the notion that all Liverpool fans are working-class socialists and all Chelsea fans are Kensington Tories, so I assume it’s to stoke that more than anything. Or maybe they’re just trying to draw attention to what a crap song it is. Who knows?

Is it just me who couldn’t give a toss whether the opposition fans can make out the words to the song, or what they think of it? Since we’re all in the mood to take football chants far too literally, how about the fact that some of our fans very obviously do care that ‘no one likes us’?
