Cowards
I’ve seen some poor teams in my 35 years watching Burnley but I don’t think I’ve see a team as cowardly and naive as this one. Under coyle / laws we managed 30 points and this side will be lucky to get 20. Absolutely flabbergasted by VK and his stubborn ways after such a brilliant season last season...

Re: The ITV digital collapse
Burnley rebuffed an offer from Leeds for shandy at the time and they were a champions league team back then . So pretty bizzare he never got a go at it. Saying that we had so many strikers in the first team squad . From the top of my head about 7

Re: The ITV digital collapse
Of course Leeson was on the right, my mistake. John Boardman came with high hopes too. Some great lads I had the privilege of playing with but Stan was pretty against all youth at the time . Was a shame as I really think my strike partner Anthony Shandran was destined for big things . He had it all.

Leeson was right back and all right foot. We had a lad called John boardman we got from Liverpool. He had a wand of a left peg.

I don't know you, Blatherwickstattoo. Were you one of the young players? I knew a few of them. Seems like he’s not been fit enough or a behind the scenes scenario has happened (or both) Out of all the players who deserved a chance to have a go in the top league he is the main one. Tella looked absolutely electric against Bayern Munich. Playing on the shoulder and his link up play and assist were sublime. For the price of tresor and probably obafemi (who will both not contribute to this season in any way, shape or form) we could have had him. (If he’d have wanted to Come of co...

Even a thread about Josh Brownhill contains a dig at Trafford..... unbelievable Not really. Only stating that they aren’t premier league standard players. It’s a comparison. I don’t want to have to but sadly it’s clear for everyone to see they are way out of their depth. It’s an opinion that’s all....

I’m starting to think there’s something in his contract that stipulates he plays if he’s fit. It’s the only logical reason for him to keep his shirt at the moment because he’s costing us points .

He’s no captain. Let alone a premier league one . He’s a top /mid table championship player at best. Trafford is a decent league 1 keeper. The sooner Vk sees it the better but sadly he won’t as he seems a tad stubborn .

Too much of a squad turnover for any sort of positive squad cohesion . The players sent out on loan could possibly be the disruptive figures in the dressing room and vk has had enough. Either way it’s a shambles of a season

Some good points made. If you take away all your feelings and memories for the club and come in from an outsiders angle (like Alk) then you’ve got to say the ground is seriously out dated . On target for about 24 points on current form . Not a cat in hells chance even if Everton and Forrest get docked 10 points
