I’ve seen some poor teams in my 35 years watching Burnley but I don’t think I’ve see a team as cowardly and naive as this one. Under coyle / laws we managed 30 points and this side will be lucky to get 20. Absolutely flabbergasted by VK and his stubborn ways after such a brilliant season last season...

Burnley rebuffed an offer from Leeds for shandy at the time and they were a champions league team back then . So pretty bizzare he never got a go at it. Saying that we had so many strikers in the first team squad . From the top of my head about 7

Of course Leeson was on the right, my mistake. John Boardman came with high hopes too. Some great lads I had the privilege of playing with but Stan was pretty against all youth at the time . Was a shame as I really think my strike partner Anthony Shandran was destined for big things . He had it all.

He’s no captain. Let alone a premier league one . He’s a top /mid table championship player at best. Trafford is a decent league 1 keeper. The sooner Vk sees it the better but sadly he won’t as he seems a tad stubborn .

Too much of a squad turnover for any sort of positive squad cohesion . The players sent out on loan could possibly be the disruptive figures in the dressing room and vk has had enough. Either way it’s a shambles of a season

I played football early Saturday morning as a kid then went to this game. I was in the side stand and was stood next to the guy who was an actor from band of gold (was big at the time on itv) he was famous for his yellow marigolds

Some good points made. If you take away all your feelings and memories for the club and come in from an outsiders angle (like Alk) then you’ve got to say the ground is seriously out dated . Football is about keeping up with the competition on and off the field. I’m not for a ground change currently ...

If you can ping a ball into the top corner from nothing you can do it any level. He’s not had a chance to prove himself at this level so far injured or not.
