Long distance away fans, to Elche, Spain

We were in Spain last weekend and took in the La Liga 2, Elche v Sporting Gijon game, tickets €10. I was impressed that a reasonable number of Gijon fans had made the near 900km journey from the north coast of Spain, to the Alicante region. I presume most had flown as the car journey would be 9 or 1...

Hi Padiham On the entradas.com website, if you follow the links through for the Rayo Vallecano game on the 5th Nov you can see that they only go on General Sale on the 30th October. Re: Madrid City Break/Real Madrid tickets

Hi Padiham We went to Madrid earlier this year, and like yourself had wanted to visit the Bernabeu for a long time. I managed to see a game in the afternoon and Atletico in the evening. Think this is a rare occurrence that they play on the same day. Here's just a few things to bear in mind, that I f...

Matchday experience at Brentford

Not the performance or result that we wanted, but this was my 85th ground, of the current 92 teams, that I've been to, so some consolation! I'll get them all done one day. Didn't imagine it would take decades when I started. A miserable day capped off with pouring rain at the end on the walk back to...

Agent C we used the EdFringe website. Loads of filters to search out category, date, venue etc. They charge a booking fee so if you're going to a few shows it's better to book them all in one go. https://www.edfringe.com/ Bear in mind not to book shows too close together as they may be a mile apart ...

Just back from four fantastic days at the Edinburgh Fringe. We were kept busy with four shows a day. Saw comedians Frank Skinner, Paul Sinha, Geoff Norcott and Andy Parsons among others. Also saw some terrific singers and musicians putting a real shift in. Can't wait for next year! Short video here:...

Chuck Berry in Manchester, 2004.
Sneaked a camera into this gig and only came across pics/footage on an old computer last year.
Only a couple of minutes long and not great quality but it may be the only record of this performance.

I posted about a Real Madrid game from last Sunday a few days ago. Atletico kicked off at home about two and a half hours after Real's game finished. Fulfilled a long held dream of seeing Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu at the weekend. I was sat on the 4th tier but not too far from the pitch due to the steepness of the stand.
