Re: Thursday night games
Bayer Leverkusen win the tie, but also avoid being beaten on the night to go, I think, 45 games unbeaten. 45 games! Going undefeated all season, winning the league, domestic cup and a european cup, is all on the cards. It's pretty mind-blowing really, and would set you up nicely had you bet on it at...

Does this mean they'll be 'properly' shown, as opposed to 'red buttoned'?
I saw a few red button games and it seemed like just a single camera - poor angles, local commentary, no replays - like watching it on the radio.

Re: So do you drop Muric after two massive costly howlers?
Whilst I think Muric has a calamity in him, if he starts the season as number one then he doesn't make either of those most recent mistakes, IMO. He did make mistakes last season - Blackpool and Watford at home were mistakes, and he had a torrid time at Sheffield United - but overall he was excellen...

What needs to happen to make sure free kicks like that aren't given again, is to make every foul a red card, because red cards always get checked.

They have zero understanding of football, that's long been the problem. VAR is a waste of everyone's time as they don't know what they are looking at. This is really the crux of it. It's like they've been given the rules/laws of the game and told to enact them. By that metric, I could referee Ameri...

I think if either a) Forest are relegated and would have been even with their points back, or b) Forest are safe despite their points deduction, the punishment will stand. It'll be interesting if Forest go down but a 2 or 3 point deduction would have seen them safe. (unless there's already muttering...

Hendrick and Dave Jones was only divisive online; they never/rarely got grief from the crowd.
The only player I remember being booed by their our fans was Tony Philiskirk, we've been quite genial in the main since about 1996.

I don't really remember much division in the stands, but i only started watching us in the glory seeking days of 91/92. Of long time players and the internet, I suspect our divisive players are mainly goalkeepers; we have given front row seats to such goalkeeping luminaries (and these are in our goo...

What about letting 5 in at home in consecutive games - Sheff Utd have now done three straight in the league, four straight including the cup.
An aggregate score of 0-15 in two and half games is more like a rubbish tennis match than a top division football match.

I don't know when the earliest we can be relegated is, but it wouldn't surprise me to win half the remaining games after relegation has been confirmed. There's some talent in our squad that might be able to turn it on once the pressure is off and there's a shop window to display in.

their (weak) defence will be based upon the double jeopardy aspect in that they've already been punished for it, so I cant see any further points deductions for Everton. Forest may well get off too. It's not double jeopardy if they keep committing the same 'crime'. If years 20/21/22 result in punis...

I don't really know why, but I didn't find either title winning season as enjoyable as the others. I think I'd go Coyle, Dyche Runner Up, VK Champion, Dyche Champion.
