Re: REPORT: More misery on the Turf

It certainly has been miserable at times. Can’t disagree with that, but I’m still enjoying the ride. Curious to see what happens in the Jan transfer window. We’re only a well timed run away from getting out of it, and just imagine how good that would feel.

There’s loads to play for yet. Plenty of time to find some form. Yesterday was a good performance, it’s something to build on. And if the season ends with us being relegated. So what? We’ve done it lots before and life goes on.

I agree with you mostly re strategy and team selection. But I’m also comfortable with the idea that Kompany needs this season to learn, adapt and improve, and then we can see if he really is out of his depth or not at this level. It’s rare that young, inexperienced managers get it right straight aw...

It's premature to start calling for Kompany to go. I think he's a good manager who has lots of potential, as do lots of the young players we've brought in, but the tough start has undermined our momentum leading to low confidence and our style not clicking alongside many mistakes (giving the ball aw...

I thought we looked very good for much of the game. Considering we’re only two games in with a substantially new starting 11, there’s a lot of promise there. Sure, we were sloppy in key moments defensively, and at times the shape and patterns felt forced, similar to the start of last season with the...

Frustrating not to win but I thought QPR were very good today. Sure, they were fortunate in the first half not to be a couple down, but their last ditch defending and blocking was solid. Second half their management of the game was excellent and their shape was compact and tight; really restricted u...

I disagree, the two parties signs a professional agreement and the player should hold up his part if it. If a bigger club want to pay him more money, he should've requested a release clause.
