Re: Latest odds on our manager gone by Christmas?

Dear Me, I very very rarely comment but you have me hook line and sinker! Predominantly played top six sides , and in the sides at a lower level we have given a good account of ourselves. We have a shed load of new players and they will take time to gell. Its like you werent here last year! Why on e...

Re: Clarets v Villa Match Thread

Ironically at 0-2 down ,I think we have done ok.
Very impressed with Foster, fast and strong, definitely looks a premier league player.
For me , we are a man down in midfield, and as such I am with holding judgement on Berge, but I really dont think we have been that bad and 2-0 flatters Villa

Re: Bike Lock Recommendations

Like everybody else has said a good 18v grinder will make mincemeat of most locks. However if you are aboard the apple train I would recommend trying to fix an AirTag on it somewhere, perhaps down the seat post or disguised behind a sticker. Whilst I’m sure most professional gangs would probably be ...

Re: Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and discussion.

Would be massively disappointed if Twine is loaned out. There are definitely goals in his free kicks next season. Me too. Can’t believe that we will though. I really think he is one of our players who will really shine in the premier league. From the bits we have seen of him his eye for a disguised...

Very good win, went a litle passive second half but got it home. Really hope the rumours about Trafford are true, looks a real talent. Very calm under pressure. I thought the best player on the pitch was in the centre for England, Angel Gomes, whose ability to take the ball on the half turn under pr...

I was there and I have never been as proud of my club. It was made all the better when I saw the article afterwards. Blxxdy relentless. Each time it quietened I thought it would stop and then another claret would come forward again. I went on my first game in 1984 , cried on the turf in 87 , but in ...

Mental He would thrive in this system and more importantly, gives us two strikers rather than the one we have at the moment (I'm not counting Barnes, and the Turkish lad just hasn't played enough) His only crime was being honest about why he was leaving, and if you think that all the others who lef...

Posted a few weeks ago, I backed us as champions for a season long bet , with City and Rangers in a treble. We were the longest odds and rightly so, I just felt our recruitment was excellent. I have seen nothing yet to change my mind and like others have said with a more established team I dont thin...

A rank average match between two rank average mid table teams I reckon we'll finish 11th... I backed us to win it as champions and I haven’t seen a thing yet to make me change my mind. The player we are missing is Twine , ie a proper ten . I think given all the new players we are at times playing s...
