I also vaguely remember a cartoon that could have been about the wars of the Roses that was on tele through the summer tv...I think it might have been overdubbed....definitely mid seventies..anybody remember ?

Grew up in Heywood, hated school and teachers, ended up with next to no qualifications....now a teacher, working with kids that got nothing from school and have struggled in education....funny old world.

Timsshorts...you make a very valid point and its a long way to the the top is one of my favourite songs...bagpipes and all...however in my defence...back in black is the first album with Brian.. which makes it valid...sort of.

It feels a bit like when you was a kid, very occasionally you would find some money on the pavement or in this case, borrow some money from a weird uncle that always wanted it back...legging it to the corner shop and buying a lucky bag...closing your eyes and crossing your fingers as you opened it.
