Re: Ekdal
He was having a very good game but that's because he is a very good player. The longer he lay on the ground motionless( as it seemed from the other end) the more worried I became. Good luck to him in his recovery and again sincerely hoping it's not as bad as first feared. Totally agree. It was a ve...

Re: Ekdal
Such a shame for the lad. He was having a great game before this incident. I hope it’s not as serious as feared and can only wish him a speedy recovery.

Weghorst stats in the EPL: Burnley (2021-22) Played 20 Scored 2 Assists 3 ManUtd (2022-23) Played 17 Scored 0 Assists 1 Not exactly someone who could be classed as our best centre forward. I wish him well at Hoffenheim. I hope he bags 20+ goals for them this season. That way, we may be able to sell ...

With regard to Churlinov, it looks as though he’s got over his serious illness and that Schalke are still interested in taking him back. It’s a shame he never really made it with us, but he’s obviously highly rated in Gelsenkirchen. https://www.archysport.com/2023/08/darko-churlinovs-future-at-schal...

Have the BFC media team come back from their holidays yet?
If things carry on like this, they’ll just be doing one video clip and introducing all the new signings as a five-a-side team.

Re: Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and discussion.
On the subject of young wingers, should we lose Benson, don’t forget that we bought 18-yr-old Enock Agyei from Anderlecht in January and sent him straight out on loan to KV Mechelen (Steven Defour). I’m not sure how well he’s done. He doesn’t seem to have played much, but would a full pre-season wit...

Over the last couple of months, both Roberts and Maatsen seem to have been pushing into that kind of position.

Re: City v Clarets Match Thread
First post on here, so please go easy on it. First of all, respect to VK for sticking with the players who got us this far in the cup. They earned the right to play against City. Looking at the game, we were missing both Brownhill and Benson, who, I believe would have made a difference. (I’m not say...
