Went from 64.5% average in the Champ to 47.2 % in the Prem. The difference is huge. Was expecting around 53-55.

I'm saying the team had an overall cohesion, from playing 46 games together. That was ripped up with 4-5 starters all left at once.

His job should be 100% secure, if he stays, he WILL get us up again next year, these boys just need to be bed in and have a season moulding against lesser teams.

A year later and loads of these young un's will be ready to make a mark.

The Championship team from last year is better than the current iteration, as I suspected.

That side last year would be 14-15th and staying up, playing very good football. Mistakes were made buying a bunch of young, inexperienced, midgets.

Rangers also had abysmal results in Europe recently. Celtic too.

What do you think. Would Celtic have pipped us to the Championship this season with their current squad? The past 10 years or so I think the Championship top teams and SPL top teams have been rather even.

This year is probably the best Championship team in ages, and the best SPL team in ages.

Maatsen - Not sure they will sell
Beyer - £15 M would probably do it.

Just give them £25M. they'd take that as a Championship team. They have other young talented players they will want to keep.

Playing a top style of football with a bunch of young kids who will only get better.

Sadly half of them will return to their club in the summer and we will have to hit the reset button again..

I fear we will do so well this year, only to lose them all in the Prem and start over.

If we can get them signed up, with their age and profile, we could have a great future.
