Nice Post.
I always remember my dad pointing out Keith McNee in the Bob Lord on one of my first ever times on the turf. Neither of whom are with us. Both of whom would have LOVED a promotion charge.

Got any pictures or a site where he posts pictures of his restorations? I've seen programmes on ship restoration and even if a ship/boat is small it's still a major undertaking. He'll post them on here but the Dhow in Fleetwood Harbour is one of his most notable works. Papabendi is as East Lancs as...

I don't believe on conspiracy theories at all. There Is one though I've always believed there Is another story. JFK - I have even sat in that window of the book depository on Dealey Plaza in Dallas. Its a mad angle to get a shot off from. The wall behind the grassy knoll though. Amazing angle. Anywa...

Papabendi, who occasonally posts on here, restores ferries and small craft that had been auctioned for scrap. Shortly after lockdown 2 ( i think!!) He took a few clarets of a certain vintage on an old Manx Supply funnel ship on a 36 hour trip round the Isle of Man. He even brought his Ukele and knoc...

Never really got into New Order. I don't like Bernard Sumner's voice. Much prefer Ian Curtis as a vocalist. It gave JD a darker edge, and it was the same with the lyrics - dark and foreboding. You make good points. New order cobbled together a decent career despite only having a few passable tunes....
