2023 is my fiftieth year of actually going on .. I’ve not missed many games over that time and in truth I must have enjoyed them all even the bad times and there were plenty … favourite season ? Any spent in the top division because to me you can’t beat it even when it’s such hard work

Vizeh and Talkbfc may not be published authors but they do have their sources… unless you’ve heard otherwise from the old medical table?! ;) In my profession every source is a valuable source as long as you understand what they are saying and why they are saying it - they don’t need to be published...

I’ve got a decent football related collection accumulated over almost fifty years of collecting but I would never buy a ‘match worn ‘ shirt .. I’ve been given a few but there is absolutely zero chance I’d pay for one for this very reason.

John Connelly and Ray Pointer both played and scored in the opening 9 minutes of the WC Qualifier against Portugal in October 1961 .Ray played for England three times in 27 days scoring twice but was never selected again.
