I'm so in love with this point of view. NHS bosses should take this view when trying to approve treatments that only reduce the mortality of an illness but doesn't eliminate it entirely.arise_sir_charge wrote: ↑Mon Apr 17, 2023 9:47 pmSo, you either want to protect race horses or you don’t.

Irrelevant. This is where football clubs are going wrong. Managers are getting fired for not scoring league points at the same rate as managers of other clubs but actually, the rate at which points are scored is "irrelevant". I'm off to explain this to Southampton fans. They're going to be relieved.

Perhaps best not to mention the 85k jobs depending on the horse racing industry and the £4.1 billion generated for the UK economy. Indeed. I agree. As long as we breed animals with the intent to abuse them then it's OK. It is their purpose. We used to do that with people until the woke brigage got all outraged over it.

I also blame the protesters for the deaths at races that didn't have protestor. Getting proof is the beggar. If two people voluntarily choose to go to bed together and then one says rape took place and the other denies it, how can there be proof beyond reasonable doubt? It's amazing how everything Russia does is always America's fault. They annexed Crimea and attempted to assassinate at least two...

At risk of being political, the problem as I see it is that people who live on terraced streets (or in flats without parking) will have to take a severe hit in lifestyle if they have to run an electric car with current technology as opposed to a petrol car. West Ham clearly weren't ready for the second half and that's why Newcastle rather unsportingly took advantage of them and scored in the 46th minute.
The FA should bring back the rule where you're not allowed to score within 60 seconds of a kick off.
