And when I used it the first few times I kept getting a notifications to sign up for the ad free version at xx pounds per annum.

Just to add, the app itself tends to buffer on a regular basis.

As for the programme itself, well there has been some great dramas of late (the one about Peter Sutcliffe for example) and this is up with the best of them.
