But with so few being available late on Friday, you would have thought that it would have been anticipated that these would go over the weekend and that they would have added more seats to the system before close of play on Friday. Showing as sold out on Burnley FC website. I understand that clubs can request the lower tier (around 750 seats) if the top tier sells out. Not sure Burnley will request them though.

I really hope they go £10 adults and kids a quid. What a great opportunity to give youngsters whose parents can't normally afford the tickets prices a chance to see their team at home. It may also avoid an embarrassingly small attendance.

I've just finished writing the first two of a six-book series of children's books, with a deliberate nod to Enid Blyton. The first one comes out before Christmas, but I'm not certain I'll sell as many as her!
I must say, it's been a lovely change from writing crime thrillers.
