Re: Released players
Saw Bardsley on tv this weekend, he still looked pretty fit.
Im surprised they haven't been picked up, perhaps they dont want to play for low wages.
Bardsley was linked with his mate Rooney at Derby, i would have thought they could hold down spot in USA.

No. Football is rock, paper, scissors.
Everyone wants to play pep ball at the moment, someone will come along and be successful with a different style and we will all change to that one.

Ive not heard of any of these players but I've googled Luke McNally, he is 6ft 4in and has been scouted by Spurs so he must be a well known talent within football circles. On the team in general, any team with a good chance of promotion probably has a team full of million pound players. Derby got it...

Re: Nick Pope...Where Does He Rank In Burnley's Pantheon of Keepers
Colin McDonald had legendary status in our family. Grandad and dad both said he was better than Blacklaw. Heaton in my view gets a lot of votes because of his relationship with the fans and he changed the season when he replaced Hart. Pope is the better keeper for me because he commands the box bett...

A little sad but not really bothered. Ive seen us go down then back up and to be honest I've enjoy wins in the 4th division as much as the premier league. Burnley Football Club will always be there for me, my children, my yet to be born grandchildren. That the future, no matter what league we are in.

It seems to me that Everton should have gone for Sean after Koeman.
I was told by someone highly connected with Everton that they interviewed Sean but he had total control at Burnley.
Probably Everton and Sean had a near miss that on reflection they should have taken.
