Ah, but " the Saints " is just a nickname. I don't think you'll find a reference to Southampton in the Bible. Similarly, I imagine " hearts " appears in the Bible, but not Heart of Midlothian.

I've just checked my bank account online, and I've received the £10!!

The Gov Uk website must not be up to date, or badly worded. I certainly don't receive any of the benefits to which it refers.

If you get pension credit you qualify for the cold weather payment, but I don't think the state pension alone qualifies.

I'm a old sod, but I've never had the cold weather payment.

Unlike the winter fuel payment, the cold weather payment is means- and/or health-tested.

Whilst I would like to see it scrapped, that's not going to happen. It's here, and it's here to stay.

However, it needs to be used for "clear and obvious errors", and not to pick through every goal and foul with a fine-toothed comb.
