Tom's experience is probably that 90 times out of a hundred a player in that position would take the ball down and then bear down on the goal. Had Schurle done that then Tom's angles and position would've been about right, especially if the player's first touch gave Tom the opportunity to sprint out...

"If you're proud to be a Claret" is less often sung/chanted these days, surprisingly, because it would always remain current. As would "1-0 to the Burnalee" but that one's probably fallen out of favour due to its high 'naff rating'.
