Re: Blackburn Fans on the pitch

Best quote is from Tony Mowbray who didn't see the incident!

One does wonder what these managers do on the sidelines sometimes, they never seem to be looking at the pitch!

Re: Eni Aluko

Lianne doesnt support alukos version at all. She says she is a witness but talks about culture which wouldnt change under a different manager. I thought it a bit rich to talk about their being a problem because the manager insisted they all conformed to a set standard. Every manager dreams of a squa...

Re: Jozo Simunovic to replace Michael Keane

Ive just looked at Celtics team sheet for yesterday, he wasn't even on the bench. Only played 25 league games for them last season. Was happy to sign for Torino in 2016 (no champions league for Torino) but the deal fell through at the last minute. Torino saying he failed a medical the player that th...

Re: Clarets Foundation number

As a shareholder for 31 years and a regular season ticket holder it makes me wonder why we have a 5000 point club. I get tickets for away games as my mate has a load of 5k details from others so i never get the points.

Its time for a reset given that you cant stand together.

Icelandic Football information

In Iceland on Sunday and there is a cup quarter final Vikingur Reykjavik v IBV. With thanks to Google I've worked out i can get to the ground there and back by bus which is less than a fiver each way. The ground has a capacity of 1600. I don't think i will have a problem getting in etc but knowing w...

Re: Bidding war for £25m-rated Michael Keane

Simple maths. £25 million for keane or a other £120 million by staying in the prem. Weve more chance with him. He doesnt sign a new contract i would guess we would save a considerable portion of the £25 million on the transfer fee and wages (keane still on old wages) anyway. Keep him and he can walk...

Ian Brennan scored one. If memory serves me at the cricket field end from about the 18 yard line. Cannot remember who against. But its always stuck in my mind as the furthest out i saw a header go in.

I suspect my memory is playing tricks!

Always difficult this subject. I work in the public sector. Ive never had a glass of wine as a freebie. I do recognise that the public sector do have better terms and conditions than private sector. However i have a mate who drives a 30,000 car. Its a hybrid, better for tax. Never plugged it in. He ...

If we are going to clear £20 million i would rather keep him and let him walk out for free. Sadly £20 million is nothing in the bigger financial picture.

I wouldnt let my mum book hotel rooms until the final whistle at Reading (im 52 she was on line ready to pounce ). My main memory was right behind wade when he scored. Everyone went mental apart from me. I checked the lino the ref for anything that disallowed it. I got a pint at half time. I rarely ...

Re: BRILLIANT!! WHAT A WEEKEND!!!

Sixties claret is right. Just as PNE play Bamber Bridge and Chorley in pre season and we play Accrington Stanley to help those not as fortunate perhaps we should offer a friendly to Blackburn to help with the 5 million pound hole that has just appeared in their budget for next season.

Not heard the interview but to me he is worse than coyle. His leaving was a bigger betrayel. He has been trying to talk to fans about for the last couple of years. If coyle had been a huge success and was now man u manager he wouldnt give a monkeys.

I was at both games. The difference for me is that this time were a team on the up.

This defeat will hopefully keep some feet on the floor.

Lessons learnt today could make the difference for next season.

It how we bounce back. Didnt we win away the next match?

The thread about summer holidays got me thinking about pre-season. I understand the need to take the players halfway up an Austrian/Swiss mountain for a training camp but instead of playing Morecambe and Accrington couldnt we organise a nice weekend away trip in Europe. Maybe a reserve fixture to Re...

Scored in 3. Lost by odd goal in 5 Drew at Sunderland That includes Arsenal, Spurs and Man City away. We are getting more competitive with confidence growing. Ill bite. How can it not be offside? The ox clearly touches it and said so afterwards.

Therefore he passes the ball forwards with only one defender behind the ball at the time of the pass.

This weekend was a big opportunity for those below us to make a move. They didnt. Another weekend gone. This 10 point gap remains. 16 match days to go.

If this was boxing we would be declared the winners this weekend irrespective of todays results.
