Ha! Just that it is usual for the Scottish version to have one T, as they say Patter with one T, whereas, in English, it becomes Pater as in ate, so an extra T is inserted to get the pronunciation.

(Not black and white, obviously, before the world descends with a thousand examples of the opposite!)
