Chekhov ... great post. So much of what we are supposed not to say or think today, is just utter nonsense, as we are slowly brainwashed by the Woke brigade.

Re: I won’t go on the Turf again

The Americans I do think are doing their best to repair things after the lack of signings before them. £1million for Stevens a Brighton reserve and free transfers, was never going to bring anything. One can only imagine Dyche knew that and signed him to beef up the numbers. It seems reasonable to th...

Re: Shareholders' letter

Scouseclaret I suspect that Garlick and John B, the last thing they want is to have the club back and have to sort out the mess left behind. Because if it does come back to them it will be because the Americans couldn't make it pay, the club is in arrears with everything, and owing creditors all ove...

Re: Shareholders' letter

I looked at the list of shareholders and for the sake of easy adding up saw someone who has 100 shares. With the way this deal is structured the owners will hang on to app 85,000£ of that person's money. Someone who knows more than me asked about the legality of this, talking about escrow accounts, ...

Re: Shareholders' letter

If you only get 50% as actual cash and the other %50 in shop vouchers, does this not mean that ALK are acquiring the shares at half price. The club is paying you the rest via the shop. Is this a canny crafty way of doing it. It has already been asked but again, where are ALK getting the money from e...

My thoughts too NewClaret. That's a pretty tall order spending even £2000 in the shop unless you kit out the whole family with new clothes.
Unless there's an open ended expiry date on them.

There is a line in the Times piece that says Companies House showed us having £80.6million int bank prior to the takeover. One can reasonably assume that the chairman was ring fencing that to enable the ALK purchase instead of signing new players.
