Annoying at first and then I think petrol from Leeds and a programme is £15, so paying the extra breaks even so will no doubt stump up. For anyone travelling longer distances it’s a reasonable price to watch games.

Be an exciting season though wouldn't it? Blood pressure and sanity went through the roof in that last Stan season. That last minute win at Bradford and then Branchy the saviour with those two priceless wins at the end.

Going off on a bit of a tangent I suppose but if the squad remains as it is and the lid is kept tight on the jar on the mantelpiece, and Dyche keeps us up, he can say what Stan T said in his final season...that not being relegated with what he had at his disposal was his greatest achievement.

Just finished a week up int Dales. Coldest we've ever known it in Aug but a grand log fire every night.

The Cummings goal. There is a very slim paperback by Peter Fyles called Burnley's Greatest Goal. Published 1999. At that point Peter was a teacher in Stockholm. The book is the thesis he wrote whilst doing his teacher training.

The interesting thing is that Derek Gill got the club back in the money with some quite lucrative commercial deals. Plus the unexpected bonus of the Lowerhouse Land money.
