They play attacking football and have power. They don't get shrugged off the ball as much.

We are a side that spends most of the time on the back-foot. To score goals we need to be very quick indeed in the PL at counter-attacking.Its something we are shocking at. My footballing friends who know I support Burnley tell me how laborious we are when attacking.Cries for Rodriguez and JBG to b...

The bit on the Home Office was interesting. We have had to wait ages previously, on the odd occasion we signed a foreigner. They come to us now the day after the signing. He also said it was now easy to get the paperwork done, so how the hell do Rovers keep messing it up.

Would they be that good if they went down? They would have players wanting to leave and would have to sell due to their finances, especially if we put in, and win, a claim against them. I doubt if they made any money on sales they would be able to use much of it for signings.

With the way that went we might as well have waited until deadline day to sell him.claptrappers_union wrote: ↑Fri Feb 09, 2024 9:56 pmThe thing with that is that he was signed early in the window. Newcastle could've activated his release clause on Deadline Day. Instead, we were given time to find a replacement in Weghorst.

Wharton has signed for Palace for £22m. I think it's £18m + add ons. That solves the problem of Venkys not being able to put money in. Short term anyway.
