Stan Collymore
No time for this bloke even more so when he writes in his column in the Mirror that "No Premier League side should ever lose at home to a fifth-tier club" even taking into account of the magic of the cup. Is he right to criticise top league players who are "not as good as they think they are" ? .......

Re: Speeding Fine
I thought that too Diesel, in fact I spotted the Van well before I got close to it and looked at my speedometer (a digital one in a Megane )which at that time was hovering around 31/32 MPH and didn't even bother to slow down thinking it would be within their tolerance level, apparently 32 MPH will p...

Re: Just supposing......
jurek I suppose I was thinking of O'Neill, Anderson,Agyei, maybe Jackson and Ginelly, admittedly more for the future than the present. I am not saying I wouldn't like some incoming transfers but not at any price just because the perception from selling clubs is that unusually we now have some money ...

Just supposing......
.......we don't sign anybody and no one leaves in this flipping energy draining transfer window, we close ranks, retain the team spirit and just get on with it. We are in a better league position than expected, we have Scotty and JBG returning from injury, some pretty good youngsters ( and Joey,impen...

Quite a few times, my cousin presented there for many years, he won some golds, silvers and silver gilts etc until he got on in years and the RHS preferred and encouraged the younger presenters with bigger sponsorship, An experience to go there even if you are not a keen gardener.

A very friendly bunch of Locals with different levels of ability but with the same objective of havi...

It's run and overseen by professionals dealing with cardiac/stoke rehab so I am sure I will be Ok but seeing my Doctor this week for a diabetic review so I will run it past him...... which is probably more than I will be doing with the ball at my feet.
The responses to the post are encouraging though.

A small bit of pride, I guess. The chap who runs it is a Claret and he has told me to wear my Burnley shirt, I might let the side down.
Seriously though I am looking forward to it as long as it is not taken too seriously.

The only big match tomorrow.
Fairly new to the area, moved to Rochdale from Kent just over a year ago, quite close to the Spring Inn not far from Shaw Oldham. A Claret Fan of some 56 years and I just wondered if there were any other Clarets watching the match tomorrow in that area and, if so, where?
