Re: Season tickets next season
That would be awful, and utterly needless considering the uplift would probably give them enough additional revenue to cover about a month of Tresor's salary if they're lucky. Surely it just wouldn't be worth the bad press. My Dad has benefitted from it for two years now, what a kick in the teeth i...

Re: Google Contactless Pay
I'm all for technology if it makes life easier but personally don't see how this is any easier than cash or card. Drives me mad when you're stuck in a queue and somebody in front is struggling to pay with their phone holding everybody up. Generally quicker than waiting for people to get a card out ...

Re: Google Contactless Pay
I don’t use Apple/Google pay as I find it a faff having to show my face to the phone or enter a number every time I want to get into it. But there’s no doubt that the technology is good. I use Apple Pay (never used Google Pay) which for some time was useable with a finger print. Then with my last c...

Wakes stuck at it but just lack a bit of quality. Feel sorry for the lad that missed. I stuck it on after the England game and you are right, there isn't much international quality in their squad, but they gave it a real go and in the end came down to just one penalty miss. Watching James walk up t...

Re: 2023/24: Everton v Burnley – Ticket Information
Lv4 has sold out and took off sale. Looks like they are trying to sell the restricted view tickets in lv1 and 2 before putting lv3 on sale. Poor from both clubs. Just had a look and there are now just 49 seats left in LV1 & LV2 with all but one of them a restricted view. Can't understand why we hav...

Someone needs to explain group tables to whoever writes the academy stuff for the club. In their preview for the game, they wrote: "Wrexham sit 4th in the five-team table after beating Preston and losing to Accrington Stanley. The Welsh outfit are the only team that can prevent Burnley winning the g...

I was chatting to Lanky three days ago. He said he’d got a new job but couldn’t divulge where until his new club announced it. He said it was with Mark Fell who he’d worked with at Lancaster until earlier this season.

Re: Chesterfield back in the league
I can't say I'd heard of Dyche at that time ;) and I don't recall any goings with Francis. With you mentioning Francis though, was it that season when he was sent off at Hereford (L 3-0) or the following season (L2-0) ? I went to both but I can't Determine which game it was. Same season as the Here...

And if anyone is going and in need of an early lunch I can recommend "Chocks Away" which is situated on the aerodome with views across the runway. You have to go through a security barrier but just tell them where you're going and they let you in. You might even see one of the "Belugas" which are u...

Didn't go to the rearranged match but went the following season when we won 2-0 with Deary & Francis getting the goals in the first 30 mins.
