I was mesmerised when I found these 'Ox Cam' videos of John Entwistle from The Who live at Shepperton Studios.

Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm Ternent appointment
After what, in the main, had been a very poor couple of decades from the mid/late 1970s I think that on reflection, this appointment set the ball rolling towards the phenomenal times we're currently enjoying. Stan is doubtlessly one of my favourite ever BFC managers and we were certainly just about ...

The constant din of banging exhausts up and down Manchester Road in Nelson is currently driving me up the wall.

Re: Nelson Imp 60 Years Ago Today
I once read the book 'Going Down't Imp' and the gig guide reads like the 'Who's Who' of 1960's and 1970's musical superstardom. Though I can't even remember ever seeing it standing, I drive past the Imp site almost daily and always feel a real sense of local history imagining all the stellar names w...

Re: Remembering the Valley Parade Tragedy
I can still remember us driving back from a 3-2 away win at Walsall and hearing of this tragedy which is forever etched in the memory. It wasn't until many years later I saw the footage from the day and how the stand goes from a few wisps of emerging smoke to a raging inferno within about 5 minutes....

Back in those days I used to watch every game home and away so, however infrequently, it must have had its moments but I have absolutely nothing but awful memories of this season and all capped off by being played in the worst Burnley home shirt there's ever been.

Long after the buzz has subsided, winning the league on their ground will be spoken and sung about for generations to come.
