Re: Lancashire League 12th May ...
Burnley were always going to win with their spin attack providing they scored over 100, Smit, Holt, Tripathi bowling on that dust track. Cant see Lowerhouse winning it this year, seems to be something missing at the moment, certainly have the quality there to do it though. A few of the locals were ...

Some crazy results so far this season. The big boys seem to be losing regular.
I caught the last bit of the Burnley/Clitheroe game where Clitheroe through it away chasing a small total.

304-4 Lancs end up.
Looks a little small with modern scores but I think they have enough. Lords is looking big with the batsman struggling to reach the boundary. The ball isn't coming on to the bat as they like and should be some seam movement early on.

A good batting performance so far on a wicket that offered quite a bit at the start.
161-1 with Jennings 82 and Croft 65 not out after 29 overs. Let's hope we can capitalise on the good start.
Jimmy should bowl well on here.

I don’t even think our very own Peter Crouch would be able to stick his head out the sun roof with feet on the wheel, change gear and accelerate all at the same time.
