Re: World Mental Health Day
Always worth reaching out if needed. I did a few years ago on CM and received plenty of support. Redbeard also gave me his phone number that day and I had a couple of chats with him that, along with the written support on CM, helped me get over my dark spot. I've made a lot of changes in my life si...

Claretforever, can you send it to me at admin at uptheclarets dot com please? I'd intended putting it on Clarets Mad but moved on before I'd got it done.

Re: Player pictures around Turf Moor
This year's program has our shirt photoshopped onto a number of players for the front cover shots. Hendrick was an example against Hull. Hopefully they could do the same for these. It'll look a bit naff if a player is wearing another club''s shirt. Been left in the hands of the club's designers and...

Re: Player pictures around Turf Moor
Can understand difficulty in obtaining older pics but may seem odd to have pics of "other" teams I'd have thought somebody would have been able to "create" an image in those instances Before we put out the vote to supporters we checked with the club that they had suitable photographs for all of the...

Re: Player pictures around Turf Moor
So are they all going to be black & white with the claret accented? Should look good if that's the case Where possible - some of the older ones have proved really difficult. No pics of either Bob Kelly or George Beel so they are going to be in England and Lincoln kits simply because there weren't a...

Re: Player pictures around Turf Moor
Finally some news - the first twelve on the Bob Lord Stand could be in place ahead of the home game against Arsenal. It's been very difficult trying to find suitable photographs for some of these players but we are hoping things will be ready to go later next week for the first twelve players who wi...

Re: Points required for survival
Blackpool were unlucky, their policy was to attack teams and they won a few away games of note quite early I think. Blackpool's opening away games were amazing Wigan - won 4-0 Arsenal - lost 6-0 Newcastle - won 2-0 Chelsea - lost 4-0 They then won the next one at Liverpool. A contrast to the previo...

Man City
Frighteningly good
Sunderland
Defensively poor
Stoke
Not sure what's happening there
Agree with you re Swansea. They will struggle.

Re: Dyches gameplan?
Does anyone have any idea? Call it 442 451 or whatever you want its effectively a 9-0-1 and a big hoof to the isolated front man. 8 shots on target in 5 games. Painful to watch my club play this way. I'd say it is more painful to read this. If you think that's how we are playing then I suggest you ...

Re: Your favourite promotion?
You have to consider the two Wembley wins because of the sheer excitement of winning there, and you have to consider 1991/92 because we were finally out of that bottom division in an amazing season, but, for me, there are three that come out above them. 1. 1972/73 - only four defeats all season, a s...

Re: Player pictures around Turf Moor
Update: Following discussions yesterday - the plan is now to put these player boards up in three phases, the phases being the three stands. The Bob Lord will go first with the 12 players from the two earliest eras so they will be Jack Yates, Jerry Dawson, Bert Freeman, Tommy Boyle, Bob Kelly, George...
