Everyone saying Utd have been really bad.

What could you do when City have just been so good?

United have been really bad though. I've seen 2 defenders chase the same attacking player, and City players have acres of space when they receive the ball. Tactically, Man U have been absolutely awful which has helped City.

City have also been superb of course.

City are quite literally now walking in most parts. It's now a training game.

I know United have been playing well lately with McTom and Eriksen together but it’s very naive to have one of the best DM’s in world football on the bench away at City.

I'm not sure they are, yes they have won 4 out of the last 5 titles, but 2 of those where only by a point ahead of Liverpool, so it's not like City are romping to the PL every season is it, although this season they easily might run away with it on this form.
Liverpool have had to play out of their skins the last 2 or 3 years to even keep up with them, this season is proving it's not sustainable in the long run.
When the best team in the country basically has a blank cheque to go and sign who they want every summer how are other clubs supposed to compete?

Didn’t they have a net spend of +20m this summer?

Like I said, Chelsea and United have spent more money than them since Pep joined.

Don't know the precise figures, but yes I'm fairly certain they did have a net profit in the recent window.

It's one thing to spend money, it's quite another to spend it wisely, as has been shown by how poor Chelsea have performed in the PL over recent seasons despite shelling out fortunes.

And arguably City's best player has come through their youth system in the shape of Foden.

A blank check book hasn't done United much good, along with the highest wage bill in the premier League

A bit unfair to ignore Arteta. A surprise bit of enjoyment from the Premier League this season in that Arsenal are looking very very good. Competition for Liverpool and City.
Arteta in the same sentence as Pep is criminal. Not even in the same stratosphere. Back to back 8th place finishes for Arteta, spent £200m then got 5th, spent another £150m, should secure top 4.

£500 bet that Arsenal finish above 8th place.

I just said they should secure top 4. They finished 5th last year and spent £150m in the summer. back to back 8th in his first 2 seasons.

Foden is absolutely a class act. Bizarrely, sent out by GS to do something other than what he does for City.

Pep let’s his players play, he sends them out to express themselves, and more importantly, he sends them out to attack and score goals. That’s the difference really.
