Roll call for the KCOM Stadium...

Post by 1989_claret » Sat Feb 18, 2017 2:44 pm

Horrendous that today, nothing else to say on it.

On to next week, train from Rochdale at 10am to Leeds then on to Hull.

Who's joining me?

"Who's joining me?"

Well, I WAS going to go to Hull but from where I live, the day would cost me about £100.
So after watching that shambles, I'm giving it a miss, I've just put £22 on relegation @ 22/1 with Skybet because let's face it, after looking at the upcoming fixtures, it's a possibility, as anything can happen. Returns £500 if we're relegated; if not - I'm very happy we stay up and the other £78 will pay for a nice meal out with Mrs Morgan.

PS : Not a PROPER fan alert.

Sorry but the thread is about who is going to Hull! Also, if you hadn't got a ticket it's sold out so you couldn't have gone anyway!

Even though it's not appropriate for this thread (as it's actually about going to Hull) I think there's zero chance of us going down with Leicester, Palace, Sunderland, Bournemouth, Boro etc. all in a terrible run of form.

£22 wasted.

Good for you.

I happen to still think there's a quite decent chance.

I've looked at the fixtures. I don't think there's ZERO chance of relegation, unlike you.

So, I've hedged my bets. It's win-win as far as I'm concerned, so no, not £22 wasted, £22 spent on an insurance policy.

Like I hinted at in the OP, unlike you, I'm not a proper fan. 8-)

I'll be there with my Grandfather. We've been to every league game this year and long may it continue. Not bad for 70 years old  , missed some in December due to work commitments. This will be my fourth trip to Hull City, we've lost the previous three.

Another 1 making the trip. Combining it with a stop over at the inlaws in Hessle, so only a short drive to the ground.

Driving there with my son.
Does anyone remember a night game when they closed the A63 at 10.00 pm .
A mad chase after the game to get through sadly didn't make it.

Yea I remember that. At least Hull City FC had the decency to forewarn us about it. As I recall the diversion wasn't too bad anyway.

I'm driving there with my son as well.

Tonbridge, the harbour isnt touristy, and unfortunately most of it is the wrong side of Clive Sullivan Way, plenty of pubs and restaurants in the small old town area, it ain't York but I guess you know that anyway. Its just a short stroll from the station were most of the Hotels are centred around. Deep's not bad though.
