For the past few months I have been unable access the old site on my computer at home for more than a few seconds, before it went 'Clarets Mad is not responding'. I am planning to retire at the end of this year and I was worried I was going to lose touch with you all.
No such problems with this site.

So, thank you Tony, John and everyone else responsible for setting up Uptheclarets.

This took me by surprise but very pleasantly so. A huge Thank You to Tony, JDR, MDWat and Claretspice (the names are under "The Team"). CM was losing posters due to circumstances beyond Tony's control and I was seriously worried his magnificent work stretching back many years was in danger of dying.

So, this is brilliant news.

I'm absolutely sure that the philosophy is to "stabilise" the regular user situation, increase traffic, hopefully regain old friends and, of course, warmly welcome Clarets (and non-Clarets who love football and respect other clubs' forums) who didn't know about CM.

Really, really great to see the CM Universe saved and, once again, thank you lads for all your hard work. It is greatly appreciated.

Congratulations to all who have made this happen. As a Claret from afar (Lincolnshire) the web is my way into the day to day mood of Clarets and then is supplemented by pilgrimages to games. CM had become increasingly frustrating to access and I wish this site all the success it rightly deserves for reacting to our frustrations.
